For six generations now members of the Nouveau family have been making wine, and since September 2004 we have been joined by our son-in-law Stephane, who will help us continue our passion for quality wine making.
As a family enterprise we are also watched over by Charles Nouveau ( born in 1918) who represents the fourth generation of winemakers and brings huge experience to the process.
Our team of grape picker, the same since 30 years.
Our family domaine is situated in the heart of the Cote de Beaune. About 30% of the output from the vineyard is white wine and the rest red.

As ever, our objective is to produce quality wines linked to size of yield and informed through being close to the soil and sensitive to the seasons. We make our wines as naturally as possible. This continues from the constant and careful watching as the grapes grow through to the complex nurturing of the grapes as we move towards the process of making the wine.
Each year the grape harvest is achieved entirely through picking by hand. During this convivial period we nevertheless always demand the highest standards of grape care from the pickers who thus contribute to the overall quality of the vintage.
